Use an atlas to locate where deserts are to be found in the world. Talk about what they know about deserts and what grows there. Listen to the story 'Shelters in the Desert'. Participate in recall and sequencing of the story. Discuss what the Jewish people did to make sure everyone had something to eat in the desert.
